This Hostel is definitely not your cup of tea if you’re on the look-out for a Party-Hostel. Smoking is not allowed virtually anywhere in the hostel, no sneaking about it. However, their guests simply loved the place for its quietness and the warm atmosphere            

The Eastener Hostel only have 17 number of beds but you can sleep in your own sleeping bag. Or, you can even rent some bedlinen for an extra charge of 3 Euro per person during your entire stay.

The Eastener Hostel is located in a small quiet street right at the centre of East Berlin. This should be the Hostel that you’ll ideally look for if you’re a backpacker who is looking for a quiet place at night. The parties are only held in the hot spots which are just nearby. But if you want a night of peace, the hostel is just the right place of silence for you. In fact, they even have a little Bistro right across the street which offers special packages for the Eastener-Hostel-backpackers. This includes cheap breakfast with as much coffee as you can drink for a very little money from 2,30€. However, the Eastener Hostel also has a common room with kitchen facilities and a central place with free hot showers 24 hours a day.

Truly, it is the ideal place, this  small and quiet Backpacker Hostel in Berlin-Mitte, especially when you’re in for the sights around the area as it is right in the centre of the city. There is no curfew here and you can have your own keys so that you will have 24 hour access to your room. There is always free tea or coffee waiting for you as well as a Free internet access. Surrounding the hostel, there are lots of sightseeing to be done in the area. all within walking distance from the hostel, you can go to Brandenburg Gate, Museumsinsel, Hackesche Höfe, Reichstag, Tacheles, New Synagogue and Checkpoint Charlie. The hostel even offers a free guided walking tour of Berlin where they will pick you up at the hostel every day and is administered by a professional guide. Other services offered include: Car Parking, Bicycle Hire, Luggage Storage, Guest Kitchen, Common Room and more! However, payments here must be done with cash since they do not accept credit cards or traveler's cheques.

The Eastener Hostel is located at Novalisstr. 14, 10115, Berlin, Germany. To go there, pass by Bahnhof Friedrichstraße: then change to Underground U6 direction Alt-Tegel to Oranienburger Tor. You can exit in the same direction as the train goes and keep walking 100 m on the right side where you’ll then take a right on the second cross into Torstraße. From here, keep walking and after 100 m you can take a left on the first into Novalisstraße and look for the "Eastener" at number 14.
